About department

April 2001, Department of Engineering Graphics reorganized to the department of Engineering Graphics and the newly created Department of Graphical Systems. Originally the cathedral was completed in 11 employees, and it’s educational and scientific activities started in 1 September 2001. Head of the Department appointed professor Habil. Dr. Romualdas Baušys, which is managed now.
Today the collective of the department consists of: 2 professors, 5 dr. associate professors, 7 dr. Lecturer, 6 speakers, 5 assistants, 2 doctoral students and 2 auxiliary teaching staff.
Cathedral conducted first cycle (undergraduate, Bachelor's) and second cycle (graduate, Master's) studies:
  •  Bachelor's degree study: study area - Informatics Engineering, study programme - Multimedia Design, level of qualification -bachelor of Information Technologies.
  •  Master's degree study: study area - Informatics Engineering, study programme - Information Technologies, specialization -Multimedia Information Systems, level of qualification - Master of Informatics Engineering.
  • By the bachelor and master degree study programs in 10 years period , prepared respectively 148 and 78 bachelor’s and master’s.
